Welcome me back, veganism.
Okay, so this time is going to be insanely hard, because I can’t eat soy-based anything, but whatever, my experience yesterday was proof enough:
I am pmsing (tmi get over it) so I really just wanted a milkshake. I got my mom to bring me a Jamocha shake from Arby’s. And though I genuinely liked the taste, within 10 minutes of finishing I became extremely tired, and was nauseous the rest of the day. And not just a little nauseous, like sit on the bathroom floor awaiting this horrendous fate-nauseous.
So if anyone could point me to a ton of soy-free recipes, I would be eternally grateful. I can give up meat like it is my job, and after the milkshake fiasco (and I know it was the dairy. I am always more tired when I have dairy), I don’t think I’ll miss ice cream or cheese anymore.

They give me that “then why aren’t you super skinny?” look, and it’s almost embarrassing. I’m not a big girl, but I’m definitely not Nicole Richie.I mean, I don’t want to be. I just hate it. Anyone other vegans ever feel like that?
